michael jordan first NBA title

Michael Jordan is arguably the ‘greatest’ basketball player of all-time. It took Jordan 7 years to win his first championship with the Chicago Bulls in 1991 defeating the Los Angeles Lakers (4-1) led by Magic Johnson. Jordan and the Bulls would set a standard of excellence by winning six NBA Championships in eight seasons and establish the Bulls as the team of the '90s. Jordan was his glorious self in the finals each season, earning NBA Finals Most Valuable Player awards in all six Finals appearances.
